Have you ever faced & tried to get out of depression? Have you ever talked about depression with anyone? Or Do you even know what is it? I guess no, and it’s not your fault. It’s the same with every second person. This is the era where people are busier in their world, they know only a lil about depression, they are also a victim of the same, but they will not talk about it as nobody cares. And this is because no one knows what depression is.
This is the sad reality of today’s world where people are happy on social media but deep inside we all are suffering from sadness and loneliness. Well, depression is not that common. If Someone is happy or sad it’s not depression but it’s beyond that. It can destroy a person completely.
Okay so let’s not distract from the topic now! It is a sad reality that I am also one of those people who believe in living in a fake world. But I got to know this bitter reality when I suffered the same. Let me tell you depression has no definition, it might be defined in bookish terms, but it has no definition. You get to know it well when you see its real sight. I never wonder what depression is. I heard about it but came to know about it when I actually faced it.
Sometimes even the person suffering from it does not know he is going through it. It takes a long time to find out that the person is depressed, and this is exactly what happened to me.
It will be a long story if I’m gonna tell you the whole thing happened to me, so I am sharing the tips to get out of depression because I know how bad that phase is.
So here are the tips that helped me to get off that critical phase:
Do not spend time on over-thinking:
Thinking is good but overthinking can kill you. So if you think that you are in stress, don’t think over it, keep your mind free from such thoughts that make you stressed. Running out of negative thoughts and negative people can benefit you a lot.
Listen to Music:
This is an old technique but trust me it works, but do not listen to sad songs and those which pull you to sadness. Listen to that one which gives you peace and makes you feel warm, alive and full of positive energies. Our energies really matter according to “law of attraction” Also choose the company of positive people nearby you, because it’s a fact if you are around negative and stressed people, chances are you are going to be more depressed. So, choose your company wisely.
Give time to Meditate:
This is gonna surely help you. Even psychiatric suggest meditating because it purifies your soul. Meditation can heal you 60% by default. Wake up early, love nature, do exercise, meditate for half an hour and you are all done.
Spend time with family:
If nothing is working then you should spend your time with your family. It will help you to get out of depression with ease. Also, don’t let yourself be alone. Go out from your surroundings, pack your bags and travel or share your problems with your beloved ones because loneliness is the major cause of depression and also when you have no one to share your problem. So if nobody is listening to you then your family is the first most thing who will help you to get rid of your problems and it can cure you.
Follow your passion:
This one will surely help you to get out of depression. It’s been said, when you are broken or sad, at that time the cosmic energies are very high. So do what you are good at.
Give yourself a priority. Love yourself. Follow your passion, listen to your heart. Spend your time by indulging in doing something that will be fruitful to you instead of sitting alone or thinking about the bad things that had happened. “An Empty mind is a devil’s house” so, keep yourself busy with work. Do those things that you are passionate about. You can give a direction to your hidden talent by taking the right direction. And it will be proven as a blessing in disguise.
I hope the above-mentioned things can help you to cope up and get rid of depression because these helped me during my difficult time. Yes, it’s tough but it is not impossible. You can either build yourself or destroy yourself. Our mind is the most powerful thing in the world, it will act according to you. So, if you are in depression train your mind and follow the above things and it will prove to be a blessing for you.
