In my opinion, a health coach is a supportive mentor who motivates you to make positive health choices and changes. One who listens and is a mentor, a counselor, and an encouraging mentor who gives you as a client the opportunity to listen to your own body and your needs so you can decide for yourself what is right for you. You know your body and emotions best and I help you find your way to that core so you can find the motivation and all your good resources to get to the finish line.
How does a health coach work?
I, Nicole Punzi have a 1:1 session with my clients. My best method to work on is in longer courses, as I can better get in-depth and create long-term results that last. In the long run, a confidential relationship is built up where you are supported in your goals and actions. I have created a 12 session course where we go in-depth with your goals. There are 2 sessions a month where I hold you in the “hand” so you are not alone. Together, a health goal is established. The most important role is to guide you in living a completely ordinary life in all aspects of life. I work with areas such as your relationships, career, finances, movement, spirituality, self-development, diet, etc. Because if you are not in balance on these points you cannot achieve health in life and that is what I focus on in my courses. What does a health coach do?
A health coach is an incredibly good listener who goes through a process so you allow yourself to have your own self-perception. I do what I sense, I’m the best at and I’m created to help you in goals. You are the one who is expert in your own life. The inner wisdom you have lies deep within you and creates value so you can act on your goal, health, dreams, and desires through an easy, healthy, and sustainable change. I ask a lot of questions so you can find your own answers inside you. What I am good at is that I support you in your process, even when you are not in the session itself. I love keeping in touch with you while you work on your goals at home so you do not feel alone.
What is the difference between different health coaches?
There are many different educations and personalities. Always research what you expect from your health coach and see if it matches the qualifications and the energy that is between you. From my point of view, you do not become a health coach from one day to the next. It also requires practice even if you have a natural talent in working with people and questioning techniques. But the most important thing as a client is that you have good chemistry, with the one you choose. It cannot be studied, it must be felt and I only work with you if you are a match because otherwise we do not create the expected results and I would rather recommend you to another super talented colleague.
What education does a health coach have?
There is a sea of educations and that is a priority. I have chosen to be educated at Manning Inspire. I have taken the basic training in Life/business coach and the superstructure to Master Coach. I am missing the last module in August and then I can call myself a Master Coach. Besides, I am studying at IIN, where I am working on the last modules as a Health Coach. So it’s hard to answer such a question, but if I had to choose one health coach, then I would go for references, chemistry, and first impressions. I also have a degree from the Diet Academy, so I know a lot about health in general, as I am also a dietician and I am very interested in biochemistry, cells, emotions, reactions, trauma, functional medicine, etc. So everything according to where and what my clients want to work with, I use different expertise in my work. I love to guide and support you so you get the life you dream of whether it’s about optimizing your health, preventing stress or symptoms, or the desire for more quality of life.
